Workshop Description

Recommended age: 7 and above All our workshops begin with a safety briefing. (Even for returning students) Workshop duration: 6 hours (2 x 3 hr sessions) What to expect: At the end of the workshop, your child will bring home a precious, completed rolling wooden stool. It not only serves as seating but also functions as a storage stool! Its versatility of use is up to your child's imagination. It can be further personalised by allowing them to paint or decorate it at home. What will I learn: Our 6-hour workshop introduces children to hand tools, light electric tools and get a feel of working with wood. The importance of woodwork in early childhood education – building confidence and providing a foundation for lifelong learning and STEAM. - Safety in the workshop - How to use different hand tools - Sanding techniques - Joining methods Additional details: - Short tea break provided. - Attire: Please wear closed toe shoes to the venue. Comfortable, No loose or flowy clothing. - No use of power tools for the safety of the children. - All personal PPE (personal protective equipment) will be provided When Arriving at Location - For drivers, you may park within the building's compound.
