Workshop Description
All our workshops begin with a safety briefing. (Even for returning participants) Read more about our safety standards here. What to expect: During this 3 hour workshop, you will be introduced to woodworking techniques, using hand tools and getting a feel of working with wood. Learn to make your own personal keepsake box, a wood box with a beautiful lid. Choose from various types of wood and designs. You can also personalise your piece by trying our some wood burning techniques. What will I learn? - Simple wood joining methods - Safety tips and tricks to woodworking machines and handheld tools - Proper sanding and oiling techniques for woodwork Additional details: - Attire: Please wear closed toe shoes to the venue. Comfortable, No loose or flowy clothing. - No use of power tools for the safety of the children. - All personal PPE (personal protective equipment) will be provided When Arriving at Location - For drivers, you may park within the building's compound.
