Woodworking workshop for children. Design a beautiful toy camera using different types of wood. Workshop duration: 3 hours Recommended age: 8 and above, children 4-7 are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. All our workshops begin with a safety briefing. To design their own camera, your child will work within the parameters of “what a camera should look like” and “how they want it to look.” Woodworking is a wonderful way to develop character. The smell and feel of wood, using real tools, working with a natural material, the sounds of hammering and sawing, hands and minds working together to express their imagination and to solve problems, the use of strength and coordination: all go together to captivate young children’s interest.
