By continuing to Use Our Site, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood, accepted and agreed with the listed terms and conditions.

 

By registering with Saltt Workshop, you agree to the terms of service below. This page covers the terms and conditions of your transaction for the purchase or workshops and participation in classes and/or events.

Refunds And Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation of all orders within 24 hours from registration.

Cancellation charges of 30% apply after for all bookings and order 24 hours from check out.

​

“No-Shows” are non-refundable and not entitled to postponement

​

If you do not attend a class without contacting us for postponement, your class will be voided without refund.

No cancellation for any classes purchased on sale.

​

A class / workshop may be cancelled due to low-sign ups. A refund will be processed within 5 - 7 working days.

Please contact us if you have any feedback or issues regarding your booking.

Privacy Policy

We adhere to the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore.

 

When booking a class, we require your Full Name, Phone Number, Email Address and Mailing Address. We will be storing your necessary contact information for communication purposes. Additional use of email for marketing purposes. Lastly, all personal details such as NRIC (if necessary) and Credit details will be kept confidential and only used for billing and administrative purposes.

Photography

During your workshops, we will be capturing moments, taking photographs and videos! Additionally, you might appear in our website, social media, and/or advertising. By default, you agree to our use of photos and/or videos of you in our marketing material. Please let us know during the workshop if you would not like to be photographed, or would not like us to use any photos of you in our materials.

Do let us know if you'd like to have the photos we've taken of you!

We will be happy to send them to you via airdrop / wetransfer / or any other method.

Intellectual Property

All designs and ideas created in our facilities are agreed to be public property by default. Saltt Workshop is a space of sharing and exchange, and your creations might be referenced or copied in part by other participants and/or our team. There will not be any IP claims by any students / craftsman over works and designs that are created in the workshop.

Safety and Regulations

You are required to follow all our regulations upon entry to the workshop.

Appropriate attire: Covered shoes are compulsory, Dress comfortably. No loose, flowy clothing.

​

Each workshop begins with a safety briefing that covers good safety behaviours in the working space.

  • No running in the workshop.

  • Safety goggles are provided and must be worn at all times.

  • Respect the tools and only use them for their intended purposes.

  • Tools must stay at the workspace.

  • Be observant, and look out for others as well as yourself.

  • Take a break when you need it, at any time throughout the session.

  • Please take care to wear a face mask and/or long sleeves if it is too dusty for you.

 

Workshop general tool list:

  • Mini hand drill (customised for kids)

  • Pull saw

  • Wooden mallet

  • Small screwdriver

  • Clippers

  • Sandpaper

  • Hot glue gun

 

Throughout the workshop, these tools will be introduced one at a time, and when needed. Safety comes from understanding, as such, the tool introduction will teach each participant the name of the tool and to examine the tool as we explain how it works (gently feel the sharp teeth of a saw, feel the weight of the hammer and watch how the hand drill moves). We will also demonstrate and guide each participant on how to carry the tool safely and how to hold it correctly. Confidence is built and not forced, each participant will have their own learning journey and we are conscious of that, and will nurture to age as well as personal ability.

 

Saltt Workshop general material list:

  • Locally sourced wood: Pine, Nyatoh, African Mahogany, Raintree wood planks, Ramin wood

  • Food grade wood oil

  • Potting soil, pebbles, succulents and/or airplants

  • Wood glue (gorilla glue)

  • Assorted screws, wooden nails, tape, etc

Saltt workshop is not responsible for any injuries as a result of failure to comply and/or otherwise. You agree to indemnify us of all claims for damage to your property and personal injury that arise due to your disobedience, violation of our safety regulations stated herein or unauthorised operations of tools and machinery. 

Restriction of entry

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend or terminate your access to our facilities if we feel that your entry into our facilities puts you and other users at risk. There will be no obligation for refund of any class fees paid upon termination of your activities. 

 

You agree to pay all fees due promptly. All fees are due before 1st Day of Class.

We cannot allow participation if the fees are not paid.
